Support for Grief
If this sounds familiar
“Grief is exhausting.”
And it doesn’t live only in the heart. It lives in tight shoulders, shallow breath, a heavy chest, and sleepless nights.
“The world has moved on faster than I have.”
Friendships shift. Solitude grows heavy. You may be quietly wondering how to let people back in, and how to reconnect with yourself.
“I should be fine by now.”
There is no right way to grieve, only your way, and no timeline you’re failing to meet.
Grief is not a problem to be solved. It’s a process to be lived, and it’s normal, natural, and necessary.
Why the nervous system matters
Grief doesn’t only live in the heart. It lives in the body, too.
Grief is not only an emotion. It’s a full-body experience that can leave your nervous system braced, depleted, and unable to rest.
Hypnosis, breath, and gentle body-based practices give your grief a place to land, so it can soften at its own pace.

Common Questions
-
Whether your grief is raw and recent or has lived quietly in you for years, you are welcome here.
-
No. Much of my experience is with grief after the death of a loved one, and I also welcome other losses: divorce, a health diagnosis, a career ending, or the loss of who you used to be. If it feels like grief, it belongs here.
-
No. Hypnosis is a natural, learnable state. Most people are surprised by how accessible it is.
-
No, and that’s part of what makes it different. Talk therapy works mainly with thoughts and words. Grief also lives in the body: in the breath, the chest, sleepless nights. I’ve spent over a decade supporting grieving people through the body, and many of the therapists who’ve joined my groups have been surprised by how much grief holds there. This work complements counseling, and if grief has left you unable to function for a long time, I’m glad to work alongside a grief therapist.
